Hollow Sun number 09 (not the freepack but the full volume version from series 1-10) there is a series of really well put together sounds labeled "D'You Know. With all the ancient keyboards I've owned, I cannot place what synth these are from. and Steve had cryptically listed these as a 1-oscillator polysynth, so I am thinking the Korg mono/poly which I owned for quite awhile a long time ago? Anyone know what Steve sampled to get these-also just reviewed his "Mogue" (Moog) programs-amazing how much real-time variations there are here, using the 4 control wheels-whee!!!! Makes the fusion feel like an old wheel-infested analog monster, an is this nice! I was about to bite the bullet on one of the Behringer clones or Deepmind series, walked over to the Fusion, auditioned some of Steve's sounds and wham.....no need....despite my gearlust-the Fusion has ruined me for any other music machines. and i just plugged my little PXR4 Korg recorder or Tascam Dp-008 into the audio inputs-instant impedance matching for my guitars and mics, I am so screwed for needing other keyboards!!! I can even use those mini built-in mics for sampling directly into the Fusion. Criminey, I don't need anything else!! My wife will be happy at least.
One other comment here re Steve Howell's Hollow Sun bank for the moog sounds-there are some really nice filter sweeps here, which bear studying as I've been trying to learn how to program filter sweeps with the mod wheel-and would also be handy to program to an expression pedal.
