replacement encoder dial

Post by Jokeyman123 »

i know this has been covered before-but not completely-looking at an assortment of replacement increment/encoder wheels for the fusion-has anyone replaced theirs with for example-a Triton, Roland, Yamaha, Zoom or similar increment dial? Before i order a few different ones, I'd like to narrow it down to a few suspects-most listings I see do not have size specs, or whether the mounting socket is a "D" configuration or standard "split' spleened knob socket. lLke a few of you have already said, the stock increment dial is not the most comfortable. I tried making a few of my own, but it is really difficult to get a circular dial that will be perfectly symmetrical when used with such a large diameter. Can't seem to get the mounting hole underneath exactly right, and it needs to be.
