SD to IDE adapter instead of SSD?

Considering that the drive interface in the Fusion is considerably slower than most SD cards, I find myself wondering if these cheap SD to PATA IDE adapters might be another way to give the Fusion a solid state drive.

The Fusion uses a Compact Flash card, but the internal IDE/PATA interface throughput will limit the speed of whatever is attached to it no matter how fast the SSD or SD device is

With the memory expansion you can load more programs and quickly change between the ones in memory
