SD to IDE adapter instead of SSD?

Post by 2ManyKeys »

Considering that the drive interface in the Fusion is considerably slower than most SD cards, I find myself wondering if these cheap SD to PATA IDE adapters might be another way to give the Fusion a solid state drive.

The Fusion uses a Compact Flash card, but the internal IDE/PATA interface throughput will limit the speed of whatever is attached to it no matter how fast the SSD or SD device is :(

With the memory expansion you can load more programs and quickly change between the ones in memory :)
