EQ the Florestan!

Post by EXer »

Do you want to improve the Florestan Piano program ("Bright Yamaha grand K") ?

Do you feel it sounds a bit thin?
Do you think fat bottoms are more attractive :P ?

Please try these Master EQ settings :
79.99 Hz +6.0 dB
89.02 Hz +8.0 dB Q:1.00
2.19 kHz -2.2 dB Q:1.90
3.99 kHz -2.2 dB

I took these values from the 'Natural Grand' program of my EX5 which is based on similar sounding samples (the Florestan piano is made of a multisample of a P200 stage piano; it seems Yamaha has used the same multisample in many other instruments, including the EX5 synth and the "Professional Studio Library" CDs that came with the A5000/A4000 samplers).
