Hi all, I read somewhere in these posts that the favorites system was a waste of time and didn't really work. I think the advice was to put your favorites in a song or mix? I tried adding to favorites expecting it not to work or expecting only one patch per favorite. I was surprised to see that this worked perfectly well and now have a grand total of two favorites inside favorites 1 (I' m new to this ).
So I was thinking is it possible to rename the favorites. Possibly simply rename the files on the hard drive and do a verify.
Any one tried this?
Cubase 9.5 Pro. PC-11900K, Asus RStrix Z590, 32GB RAM, NVME M.2 4.0 drive.
Steinberg UR44, N.I. KK S61MKii, Komplete Ultimate 12, Omnisphere 2.6, Several Steinberg VST, Korg Legacy VST, Steinberg CMC Controllers, Presonus Atom Controller, Se X1 Mic, Adam Monitors/Sub. Alesis Fusion 8HD, ESP-LTD EC-256 Guitar, Ibanez Bass GSR200
Do not rename any of the files, if you want to you can copy programs to a Favorites folder, place a copy of the program file there, but do not move or rename any of the files from there original location as that is where the program file will look for the related files it needs to function.
