Here is a pic of part of my studio,with my brand new 6HD nestling happily with the ION and Korg EM1 and Roland SH32.
I like how the light blurs look a bit like quavers!
The shining box thing is my home-made ORAC!

How does your ION sound next to the Fusion, as far as how "warm" or "fat" the sound is? Pretty close for most work?

I have not had the Fusion very long,and as my daily life as a farmer is very busy,I haven't had a huge amount of time to compare them.My initial thoughts though are that the Fusion is fatter,but maybe thats just the type of sounds I am playing.
I have generally used synthesizers to create totally SYNTHETIC-sounding noises-the SH32 is particularly good at this,whereas I am already quite fascinated by the Fusion's ability to create very REAL sounds-some of the breathy wind and reed ones are astonishing-its multiple synthesis types and sampling ability are a great bonus for me.I have a lot of learning to do and have been gobsmacked by the Fusion so far,though occasionally a bit bewildered.This forum has been a great help to me,so thanks again everybody.
I have loaded several Hollow Sun packs and others,though I can't get Freepack 19 to load(another user had problems with this identical to mine but their post was not followed up..

)
All in all I am really glad I bought the Fusion and can't wait to produce my first all-Fusion track!
