Just a quick observation: If you're replacing failed capacitors on switchmode power supplies ensure you replace them with low-ESR (effective series resistance) capacitors with at least the same temperature rating. Using off the shelf parts may lead to early failure.
You can order these from a number of electronic outlets or from specialist mail order stores such as thecapking.com or badcaps.net.
Hopefully these power supplies predate the whole lead-free solder mandate or you'll need a temperature controlled iron too - lead-free solder has a higher melting point that conventional lead/tin.
