ON https://www.alesis.com/products/view/fusion-8hd

There is a Fusion Preset 5 HD Bank and a Hollow Sun Fusion Sound Pack: Volume 5, but I do not see a ROM 5
These are compressed files and have to be expanded, then you just copy the Volume folder to your Fusions hard disk drive (the root directory)
either using a usb cable connecting you Fusion to your computer or copying the Files to a CF card and then copy them from the CF card to your fusion's hard disk drive
but I do not see a ROM 5
Tempus Drums, Roto Toms, Djembe, Bongo's, Ibanez Bass,(3) Fusion8HD, (2) SUMO300 Amps, Alesis16 Firewire Mixer, AKG D112, Behringer B2, Shure Beta 58a Microphones, Windows 10, Audigy Soundcard, Audition 3, Sony MDR-7506 Headphones, Kontakt 6 & East West Goliath Sound Banks and a small fridge full of cold drinks :)

When "ROM" is mentioned in connection with the Fusion, it means the internal ROM of the Fusion.

This where the Fusion's resident Presets are stored. They are fixed and not accessible by any means we know.

They may be edited, but the edits must be saved to the HD . . . You cannot edit the ROM presets.

The 1.24 OS file on the Alesis site you mention is the FINAL version.

Inside the .zip you'll find Fusion_Image_v124.bin

THIS .bin includes the final update to the ROM based presets as well as OS 1.24. The file is about 64Mb

The Preset 5 Bank mentioned is a Hard Disk based Bank.

It behaves the same as the other Preset Banks except it loads from the HD rather than the internal ROM
