I have just come across a huge repository tracing the history of the many users in this group who created sound collections over the past 15 years-not Lipi's collection which is exclusively FM sounds. My question is simple-and before I do somthing to mess up my fusion's file system-many of these collections look as i would expect, with the normal file/folder structure for sounds, samples, mixes etc. However, many are simply folders containing strictly .afp (sound programs) files, no samples or any other folders. Is it safe to assume these folders, if copied as a simple volume, will show up correctly in the Fusion as discrete sound programs in their own bank? I think so but wanted to be sure before I end up with programs I can't find or trace. There are porgams in this repository for example from Falcon, Guy DenRuyter, Gwen Hwyfaer, Mark One, Luc Henrion and many others. Very interesting work done over many years-and I don't even remember where i found it! Over 1.5GB compressed as an ISO file.
Those are probably sounds/programs that I had collected over the years, mostly the first ten or fifteen years from 2005 on.
I placed them in my MediaFire WEB site, prior to that I posted them on drummonds website
Here's a pdf that most likely lists all those sounds
Tempus Drums, Roto Toms, Djembe, Bongo's, Ibanez Bass,(3) Fusion8HD, (2) SUMO300 Amps, Alesis16 Firewire Mixer, AKG D112, Behringer B2, Shure Beta 58a Microphones, Windows 10, Audigy Soundcard, Audition 3, Sony MDR-7506 Headphones, Kontakt 6 & East West Goliath Sound Banks and a small fridge full of cold drinks
OK, thanks to both of you for clarification. Looks like a wealth of info on there-an some interesting looking volumes of sounds, worth some more sound auditioning! I'll never be bored....definitely not!
Hi, I need to decrypt the sysex information of some files on my Alesis S4 Plus. Specifically, I want to break down the mix/performance dumps to find...
