I can relate to the exposure, LZ. We played a wedding at a local resort. We were set up by the cabana by the pool. They had tents for the guests, caterers, and the band. Ours was not large enough. I firmly believe in the motto "Always Be Prepared", so when we do outdoor gigs, I always carry the following: an extra tarp or two, a 10' x 10' tent, and one of those carpet dryers (the blowers you see at the hardware, or Home Depot in the U.S.) -it makes a heck of a fan!. Unfortunately, the weddings tents were white, and mine is blue, so they wouldn't let me use it. It was sunny & hot on that gig, but that night we had a deluge! We had a gig the next day at a Harley Davidson dealer. The stage was already set up from the events the day before. The show was delayed two hours because the sound company had to remove the roof of the stage (which had been lowered) and squeegee the water off the stage. We had 40 MPH winds that day with gusts up to 60 MPH (a definitive "bad-hair day"!). The wind took out the transformer across the road with a loud bang, it was a good thing the sound company was using a huge generator! D
